Yahoo announces 2,000 job cuts
Savings of $375M annually would imply an average of $187500/ employee. Does this seem high to anyone else?
I can't imagine all of these employees are cream of the crop engineers/managers.

An employee costs more than their salary; there's health insurance/benefits, payroll tax, IT+support costs, etc.

In addition to the fully loaded costs, Yahoo also pays higher salaries than most companies in SV.
