When asked for advice on how to evaluate a job, I usually suggest looking at these 5 aspects:
(1) Team
(2) Domain the company competes in
(3) Technology used
(4) Commute
(5) Compensation
Most people focus too much on the "name" of the company and/or the compensation, and do not weight the other factors enough and often later regret their choices.
